The mission of our company, Arenim Technologies and of the CryptTalk service is to protect the privacy of our customers. To serve this aim, we will always limit ourselves to collect the minimum information from our users in order to be able to run our services professionally and securely.
We want to hold the least amount of data about our user as possible.
Our goal is to have nothing to turn over or disclose to any third party.
The provisions of this Policy are in conformity with Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-determination and Freedom of Information (hereinafter referred to as: "Data Protection Act") and EU Directive 95/46/EC on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

This policy (together with our Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) and End User License Agreement (EULA) and any other documents referred to in them) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Arenim Technologies may collect, record, store, process and transmit your Personal Data and other information only with your consent. By using our services, you give your consent to Arenim Technologies to perform Data Management solely in accordance with this Policy.
We make all the necessary measures to safeguard and protect your Personal Data and other information you provide to us or we may obtain from your usage of our services. We think privacy is a high priority, therefore this Policy primarily focuses on the authenticity and integrity of Data Management, while the implementation of our scheme tries to take the best available technical and organizational measures in order to obviate any kinds of breach.
We NEVER collect or store your calls, encryption keys and passwords in an unencrypted or invertible form. Calls, communication made using our services, some corresponding encryption keys can only be decrypted by the people you explicitly shared with. According to the best of our knowledge, the current state of the art and the public knowledge of the human race, we cannot decrypt Your Encrypted Communication. During using the service, you also submit some non-Encrypted Content, like your email address. Although we don't use client side encryption to those data, the transmission and storage of such data is still highly secured, and access is strictly restricted. Even though we do our best with such data, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Information we may collect from you
As described above, we are targeting to collect only the inevitable and mandatory information about our customers and users.
As we collect, store, transmit and process various types of Personal Data, such as full name, email address and other information, we feel that it is essential to make clear the purposes for such operations. When you download and use our services, we automatically collect information on the type of device and operating system version you use.
We do not ask for, access or track any location based information from your mobile device at any time while downloading or using our Mobile Apps or Services. Please note that by creating a CryptTalk account and using our services you acknowledge and agree with the following objectives and purposes.
In general, we use the submitted information for functional and improvement reasons. It is also important to underline that we want to prevent and take action against any activity that is or may be in breach of the Terms, this Policy or the effective legal provisions. In light of these principles, we detail the purposes of Data Management for the following specific types of data as follows:
Monitoring / Website / Log Data: There are mainly statistical reasons behind the storage of such information regarding the visitors of our website, their browser types, the Tresorit client version, internet protocol addresses, aggregated error logs or unique software IDs. By storing and analyzing such information, we will be able to create in-depth analysis about our service, which is essential for improvement and debugging purposes. Please note that any data stored or collected for statistical purposes will not be disclosed to any third parties.
We may collect and process the following data about you:
- Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site www.crypttalk.com or www.arenim.com or any site created and maintained by Arenim Technologies related to the CryptTalk secure communication service (site). This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our site, subscribing to our service, posting material or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site.
- If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
- We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
- Details of transactions you carry out through our site or otherwise and of the fulfilment of your orders, including but not limited to telephone numbers and other details regarding the devices on which you install our software.
- Details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.
IP addresses and cookies
We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual. For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalized service. They enable us:
- To estimate our audience size and usage pattern.
- To store information about your preferences, and so allow us to customize our site according to your individual interests.

We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

- To ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.

This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Disclosure on legal order or business purposes
Arenim technologies may transmit Personal Data if the applicable legal provisions so require, or when such action is necessary to comply with any laws, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process, authorities' or court's orders, for the protection of our rights and interests, to protect your safety or the safety of others or to investigate fraud.
PLEASE NOTE:
Arenim Technologies is not able to decrypt the calls of any CryptTalk users therefore:
- Subscribers of the CryptTalk service have to accept that upon an Authority request regarding the calls of particular users - and because CryptTalk cannot provide the decryption of the calls for the Authorities - CryptTalk will immediately bar the users under observation from further access to the services.
- In such a situation no refund of pre-paid service fee is possible.
We support your right for secure private communications, however some people will use our tools and service to do bad. We don't want that - its bad for everyone and makes our job harder. We reserve the right to cancel your service in case of any suspicion of any crime.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data. You can also exercise the right at any time by contacting us at support@crypttalk.com.
Our site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Changes to this policy
As every high-quality service, Our Service is constantly improved in effort to keep users satisfied, but these improvements necessarily mean changes. Due to the on-going changes in the law and the changing nature of technology, data practices will change from time to time. Thus, Arenim Technologies reserves the right to alter or modify this Policy when it is necessary. If Arenim Technologies makes any material change to this Policy, you as our registered user will receive a 30 day prior written notification in e-mail and these changes will be detailed also on this page in order to ensure that you are fully aware of what information is collected or stored, how it is used and under what circumstances it will be disclosed or transmitted so that you can make your own decision whether or not to continue using our services in light of such changes.
